this weeks cheese is saint agur. this cheese is a smoothe spreadable blue. its a creamy chees that doesnt comprimise on flavour. this is a damned fine cheese for any occasion. value is average £1.89 a tescos.just spread it on!!!!!

battle of the bands

well we(lot55) went to colchester last night to compete. there was 3 bands but one of them pulled out coz the singer hurt her self some how??????? so that left the two bands. the other guys were from colchester and had a possey of people. family and friends. us there was ony us and richard wills dad. we played first, and i must say we did play quite well. the voteing was down to the audience, there were cards to fill out as to which band you liked, so whoever got the most votes went through. well the other band leigion severn finished and we all packed up our gear and waited for the result. of course it was on the cards that they would get through as it was thier home town and they had fans there to see them, and we had none. the result was read out by the judge and we went through!!!!!!! it then started kicking off a bit. fans of the other band were complaining to the judges about everything and it all got a bit heated. but at the end of the day the judge used his noggen and saw that we were the better band. they were most put out. but to be fair they wernt that professional. as the drummer forgot his snare stand and his cymbal stand. and they forgot a mike so i lent them mine, and kev lent them some drum hardware. they also coverd 1 song. they started the set in the wrong key and then started again. so they didnt have a very professional attitude to things really.

the voteing system i thought was a bit shit tho. coz you could have some crappy school kids band come down and play rubbish but go through if they brought loads of mates. didnt really make sence to me. you really need to have a panel who decides. the drummers dad was really trying to make a point of things. and i can understand why but its all a bit shit really. but hey were throughto the regional finals so that should be a fun.

LOT55

well hears an update. lot55 are playing in colchester on tuesday in a battel of the bands competition held by o'neils. these are regional heats. 1st prize includes jackson guitars, £3000, and 3 days at abbey road. hopefully we will shit'em!!!!!!

also lot55 will be recording a new demo next month, so wathc out for some new songs that will rock harder than the old ones. im looking forward to it this time coz we know what we ant and are gona really work hard to get it.

weekend

yay had a great weekend away at my sisters. was soo good to see her and my bro in law!!! they are soo cool. me and jo went shopping for new specs for me yeasterday which we found a pair which was cool!!! so will have to buy them at some point. then we did more shopping i bought a fake pair of converse for £10!!!! bargain!!!! then in the evening we had a chilli and watched a shit korean film about a woman who took the blame for murdereing a small boy got out of jail after13 years and then got the guy who really did it and all the familys whos children he killed all chopped him up. was ok just really slow, then to day we slobed all day wand watched columbo.

was good to see them both tho. i love them so much.

god stuff

man i dont know whats going on with my faith lately but it seems to be notibly lacking.

its like i feel tired or something. but things aint right. ive been a christian a long long time now,and ive seen alot of stuff, some good some bad some down right weird. ive peronally experianced gods healing, grace, miricles, and ive also experianced the lack of god the distance the desolate lonleyness from god too. ive seen people come to faith and fall from faith. and at this moement in time, i feel so indifferent to god. now dont get me wrong im not saying i dont beleive in god and heaven hell jesus and eternal life and all that stuff, but my faith is seriously rocked at the moe. i feel so thin in faith so tired of trying to beleive. it all seems so far away. kind of distant not real like a dream or a dream of a dream. all i know is i try to be a friend to all peoples and do my best to show god to them. i have alot of non christian mates which is great, i have alot of christian friends too. and partly why im feeling like this is that i have some really really lovelly non christian mates, just really really great people who i love, but ultimately are gona go to hell, and i have some bloody arsehole christian mates who i really dont like much at all and are gona go to heaven. what the f.u.c.k. is that all about????? i duno any way the prospect of being close to god at the moe seems to be eludeing me. but then again what gives me the right to be close to god. its nothing i can do. if i beleive that then im a pharrassiee. i can only be close to god through jesus. ioh man sod it my heads all full will update later.

life and stuffat the moe

well life seems to be going spiffingly at the moe. all is cool. neh more than cool, its realreally good at the moe. lot 55 have a gig at the waterfront on wednesday which will be great. cant wait. i hope my voice comes back in time for it tho. have had quite a bad sore throat the last 5 days. was quite funny went out on a date friday night with this girl and i was really struggling to speak. was funny. and i had to preach at the hellesdon christian disciples last night. that went ok i talked about is god getting the best of you or do you give him the shit that you can be just botherd to coz its easyer. went quite well. played bible pictionary too. and had chocolate buiscuits.

so life has been very busy, but is ok i get time to do stuff. me and the lads are going on a 23mile walk down marriots way this coming saturday. should be good fun. and it will be great to condition my feet to distance walking. still getting the training in. the 3peaks are comeing round real soon. hopefully should be fit enough.
