god stuff

well i was at church this morning and we started watching a video thing all morning. its based on the purpose driven life. and the guy on the film was doing a talk he made 5 points and this is one of the things that i took away from it.

the guy lets call him bill(i cant remeber his name) he was saying about the things you can take to heaven. which isnt much. biill said pretty much the only thing you can take to heaven is your charicter, or your personality. and bill was saying about how god trys to develop your charicter for you, to make you more like jesus. and bill said that bad things change your charicter more than posative life stuff. he was saying that everything you do and descide changes it but when bad things happen thats what changes it the most. could be something you descide to do or something that happens to you, a temptaition failed again, a poor choice whtever. and bill said that god sometimes allows stuff to happen to you fto give you the chance to make a good choice and improve your charicter.that made keef think!

about how that makes all the bad in my life isnt actually that bad its a good bad. (these are keefy thoughts now) like look at it this way. i have certain things in my life that i wish i didnt have. things i do, say, think, have to put up with like we all do. but how about instead of looking at them as shitty things that pee me off, why dont i look at them as an oppotunity to make a good choice and develop my charicter more to be more like jesus?. now i can relate this to 2 bits of scripture. the thorn in the fleash(romans) and those who can be trusted with little can be trusted with much(cant remember where) so thats what im gona try and do.

lifes getting better

well it is. if you read my blog about my worst week of the year well its starting to get better.

i got my amp back all fixed simply. thanks due to my mate dan. man hes a great guy. not just co z he actually wants to help sort me out. but he is a cool bloke. i know how much my cars gona cost me to fix. which is still a bummber but at least i know. my finger is better. have giged it about 3/4 times since i done it. and the best bit is helen is coming home for the weekend next weekend!!!! yay!!!!woohoo!!!!! i cant wait to see ehr again. dont get me wrong we talk on the phone pretty much every day and thats really cool, and i couldent do without it. but boy when i see her and hold her its like wow i know how much i really really do like her and want to be with her. the phone aint the same as real life but its the next best thing!!!

weekend at lankeys

well was a good weekend away!!!!! there was lots of eating and lots of fun. friday night we had pizza. cat came round and we all just chatted for a while. in the morning cat came round and cooked us all egga nd bacon sarnieys. kind of brunch lunch time. then me lankey and steve went for a walk olomg stannage edge. a very beautifull part of the peak district. as you can see from the photos. it was mega cold up there i stood in the middle of an iced up pond type thing it was that cold. so much ice up on the top there!!!!!

lankey fell through one!!! ha ha ha!!!!! we all laughed!!! we then went to hathersage to wander around the cool walking climbing shops and ended up at a pub for a pint. in the evening cat cooked us all a curry and we went to the hillsbourough hotel. which was cool. then this morning we went to thier church had lunch then came home. yeat again another weekend spent with lankey ive never done or heard so much belching and farting in my life!!!!!! oh what fun!!!

weekend

yay off to sheffield for the weekend with ma best mate steve to see our friend lankey. should be good. after the week ive had it will be great to just get away for a couple of days!!!!

am looking forward to it. lots of eating and pratting around to be had by all!!!

gona go for a walk over the peaks as we are ther. and it will be great to just catch up. funny it will be lankeys stagg do on the 25th!!! which will be great fun too!!!

well i think ive officialy had the worst week of this year so far!!!!!!

it was from the 31st jan to the 7th feb. back on the 31st, i had a day off of work due to a migrain, which sucked ass big time!!!! made me quite ill. then friday (on the way to fridays) i had an argument with another vehicle in my car. now i know what your thinkin
and your right of course there was no damage to his vehicle and a damn supersize me asss dentage in my front wing!!!!!!!

but it gets better. i develop yet another cold blame rests on helen as she some how transmitted it down the phone line.;)

then last night lott55 had a gig in a nightclub in ipswich. my bass rig(only the finest quality rig you can buy!!!!) decided to quit and die which could cost me loads to fix!!!!!

then today at work i tryed to slice my whole finger off and spent 2 hours in th drop in center waiting to get it seen to!!!!!!!!! arrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggghhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! why is it that everything bad always happens at once!!!????!??!?!?!?! i am in a very bad mood today. although helen soothes the savege beast. thankyou for being there to rant to.XX your great.

damn it gona watch stargate and eat a ridiculas ammount of crisps to cheer my self up.

ipswich gig

well tonight lot55 are playing in ipswich. good job we lost at the weekend. although i loe playing and music is my life in many ways there are sometimes like tonight when i think whats the point??????

a) weve played about 5 gigs and not many people know of us.

b) we need to build up our local fan base before we go around other places doing gigs. (that can take a long time!!!!)

c) i have to go to work which is manicly busy at the moement and its like im starting the week absolutly knakerred!!!!!!

the playing part is the best bit. its the getting there and back thats the problem. its at some night club in ipswich??????

sigh im sure it will be ok.
